Ces quatre femmes, on les appelle les radicaux tranquilles.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thecanadianencyclopedia.ca\/en\/article\/mavis-gallant\/\"><strong>Mavis Gallant<\/strong>, n\u00e9e \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al en 1922, \u00e9crivaine:<\/a>\u00a0\u00ab\u00a0Aujourd\u2019hui, les universitaires, critiques et autres \u00e9crivains placent Mavis Gallant parmi les grands de la nouvelle litt\u00e9raire contemporaine\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thecanadianencyclopedia.ca\/en\/article\/daisy-peterson-sweeney-emc\/\">Daisy Peterson Sweeney\u00a0<\/a><\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thecanadianencyclopedia.ca\/en\/article\/daisy-peterson-sweeney-emc\/\"> n\u00e9e en 1920 \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al), musicienne et \u00e9ducatrice:<\/a>\u00a0\u00ab\u00a0Musicienne accomplie, Daisy Peterson Sweeney est sans doute mieux connue comme \u00e9tant la s\u0153ur a\u00een\u00e9e et la premi\u00e8re enseignante du c\u00e9l\u00e8bre pianiste jazz Oscar Peterson\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thecanadianencyclopedia.ca\/en\/article\/lea-roback\/\"><strong>L\u00e9a Roback\u00a0<\/strong> n\u00e9e en 1903 \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al, militante syndicale d&rsquo;origine juive:<\/a>\u00a0\u00ab\u00a0L\u00e9a Roback n\u2019a jamais cess\u00e9 d\u2019affirmer haut et fort ses convictions et de lutter contre les in\u00e9galit\u00e9s sociales sous toutes ses formes\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thecanadianencyclopedia.ca\/en\/article\/francoise-sullivan\/\"><strong>Fran\u00e7oise Sullivan<\/strong>\u00a0n\u00e9e \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al en 1925, sculpteure, peintre, danseuse, chor\u00e9graphe et cosignataire du manifeste Refus global<\/a>\u00a0\u00ab\u00a0Danseuse et chor\u00e9graphe novatrice, avec sa coll\u00e8gue Jeanne Renaud, elles modernisent radicalement la danse telle que pratiqu\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Three Seamstresses<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Nous avons l\u2019obligation de raconter les histoires in\u00e9dites de ces femmes du pass\u00e9, celles qui refl\u00e8tent nos identit\u00e9s ethniques et culturelles, des femmes qui ont r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 frayer de nouvelles voies, malgr\u00e9 les contraintes de leur \u00e9poque.
